The CDS on Tuesday 4th December 2018 graced the inauguration ceremony of the new GAF Cooperative Credit Union (GAFCCU) complex at Yundum Barracks as part of his ongoing nationwide tour of military installations.
GAF Credit Union was relocated from Defence Headquarters in Banjul to Yundum Barracks for a better service delivery to serving members under its union. The CDS in collaboration with the GAFCCU Board of Directors thought it prudent and took the decision on the 03 September 2018 to relocate the office to Yundum where their services are needed most and also to have more office space and conducive environment for effective and efficient service output.
The new office complex has four offices, a Server room, counter with six Tellers, a round-about waiting space accommodating 12 seats and a proposed Conference Hall which can accommodate up to 15 Board Members at any given time.
