THE GAF’S VOLLEYBALL TEAM SET TO WIN BEACH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS

The GAF’s Volley Ball Team is on high gear preparation for the Gambia National Beach Volleyball Championship sponsored by FAR Gambia limited which would be held on Sunday 24th February at the Palma Rima Beach.

GAF’s duo superstars, Alieu Barry and Ebrima Jatta will be squaring off against Amadou Jarju and Malick Jammeh of Gamtel/Gamcel in the men’s final. Barry and Jatta wining this final would make a record of a 2nd gold medals in a row for Gambia Armed Forces as they won it in 2017. Mainwhile, their opponent will be looking for their 1st beach volleyball title in their club history after missing it to Old Jeshwang in the 2014 Champions finals.

On the other hand, the women’s Volleyball Championship finalist composing of Abie Kujabie and Nyima Demba of  GAF and Interior’s Fatoumatta Ceesay and Mariama Ginadou will go head to head as they battle for the right to be crown Gambia’s Beach Volleyball Female Champions. Should Kujabie and Demba win, it will be a historic victory as it would mark their third gold medal in a row, having won it twice; 2014 and 2017.
