As the Gambia Armed Forces engages on promotion, 1 Infantry Battalion Yundum Barracks and Defence Headquarters Camp decorated 76 and 175 of their personnel respectively to various ranks ranging from Lance Corporal to Warrant Officer on Tuesday 30 April 2019 at Yundum Barracks. 
The promotion is geared to reward soldiers for their tireless service and to also motivate them keep up the momentum.
