GAMCOY 21 RECEIVES NEW POLICE CONTINGENT IN GAMBIA CAMP

A cross section of newly deployed Police officers

The Contingent Commander Gamcoy 21, Lieutenant Colonel Abdoulie Manneh on 6th October 2018 received twenty Police Officers at the Smiling Coast Camp in El Fashir, Darfur.

The officers were there to pay a courtesy call upon their arrival in the mission area. They were accompanied to the Camp by the Police Contingent Commander Commissioner Ebrima Mboob and his deputy, Assistant Commissioner Sireh Jabang.

The courtesy call is a norm that has been in existence where a  welcoming environment is always accorded  by Gamcoy to newly deployed members of the security services from the Gambia to Darfur.

Commissioner Sireh Jabang will take over as Contingent Commander, replacing Commissioner Ebrima Mboob when he checks out marking the end of his mission term in Darfur, Sudan.
