The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) received military items from the Turkish Government through its Embassy in Banjul on Monday 24 September 2018.
The ceremony was held at the Defence Headquarters graced by His Excellency the Turkish Ambassador. The Deputy Chief of Defence Staff Gambia Armed Forces, Major Gen Yankuba A Drammeh was deputizing for the Chief of Defence Staff Lieutenant General Masanneh N Kinteh. Also present were Senior GAF officials and other personnel of GAF.
The items received include dress uniforms, cartridge belts, aluminum water bottles and different sizes of tents.
