The Gambia Armed Forces Education unit on Tuesday 4th December 2018 achieved another mile stone development in the historical annals of the unit as the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Lieutenant General Masanneh N Kinteh laid the foundation brick for a new building project for Yundum Barracks Upper Basic School. 
The project is facilitated by ministry of Basic and Secondary education and sponsored by Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) Project. The construction is expected to last for one year and upon completion, the new storey building complex will have six classrooms with four offices and six toilets for Boys and Girls.
