The Gambia Armed Forces with effect from 20 December 2018 redeploys and appoints the following senior officers as follows:
- Lieutenant Colonel Baboucarr Jarju – Director of Admin and Personnel
2. Lieutenant Colonel Omar B Bojang – redeployed to the Gambia Armed Forces Training School as the Deputy Commandant
3. Lieutenant Colonel Sarjo Jarju – redeployed from 4 Battalion to GAF Ordnance as deputy Officer Commanding
4.Maj Lamin K Sanyang – Director Press and Public Relations
5.Maj Yaya MS Darboe appointed as Staff Officer 1 (SO1) Training and also double as Liaison Officer ECOMIG
The senior officers are hereby wished well as they assume the mantle of leadership with higher challenges in their new responsibilities.
