The Senegambia run for integration 2019 first edition has come to an end on Sunday 20th January 2019 in Dakar at monument de L’obelisque Centenaries. The race started on Friday 18th January from Bambatenda Bridge to Dakar with two nights stop in Kaolack and Mbour respectively.
Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) marathon team participated in the 3000 kilometers race which was named after the two heads of state of both countries President Adama Barrow and President Macky Sall.
The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) 12 man marathon team came out second position in the competition, the team was headed by Lieutenant Habiballah Jeng Sport Officer and Coach Staff Sergeant Mendy Joseph. Bravo to the team!
