GAF FC female team captain Fanta Jarju, and two other players Mamie Sylva and Ruggy Joof joins the Gambia Women Scorpions team in the first leg of the African Women’s Cup of Nation (AWCON) Qualifier slated on the 7th April 2018 against Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou.
GAF FC Goalkeeper Trainer Adama Jatta is also among the Women Scorpions Technical Staff. The Female Scorpions National Team are scheduled to travel from Casablanca on 4 April to be in Burkina Faso in preparation for the D-Day.
In Casablanca the Gambia Female National Squad played a warm up match with the Moroccan National Team which ended 2-1 in favour of the host.
The return leg with the Burkina Faso National team will be on the 10th of April, meanwhile hopes are high for a victorious outcome in Ouagadougou for the Lady Scorpions.
