As part of our pre-deployment training, the Gambia Armed Forces is pleased to inform the general public that the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and members of the Gambia Armed Forces will conduct a training exercise from Monday 29 January to Friday 2 February 2018 around the general area of Yundum, Jambur, Farato and Banjulinding.
The training exercise will involve the movement of troops and the use of blank ammunition most especially around the general training area. The inhabitants of the above areas are hereby urged to go on with their normal daily activities and that they do not need to panic as this is a routine exercise.
