The Minister of Defence Sheikh Omar Faye and the Chief of Defence Staff (GAF) Lieutenant General Masanneh N Kinteh continue on their nationwide tour to Military installations on Wednesday 30 October following a trip to Njongon and Kerewan on Tuesday 29th October 2019.
The two continue to engage in order to familiarize the Honourable Minister with GAF deployments and to have a first-hand impression of the current state of both living and working conditions of members of the Armed Forces and their families.
The Honourable Minister has availed himself the opportunity to listen to the concerns of the troops and their families and give advice, share policies and plans for the development of the Gambia Armed Forces as well as assess the operational readiness of troops.
The entourage is presently in Farafenni and the duo will proceed to Lamin Koto later in the day.
