The Gambia Armed Forces Agricultural Projects Proposal are projects in which the Armed Forces intends to venture into agricultural activities such as Tidal Rice Irrigation, Horticulture, Aquaculture, Animal Husbandry, Poultry, Moringa And Sugar Cane productions.  To attain the aforementioned GAF needs to partner with stakeholders like the Ministry of Agriculture, Local Government & Lands and others who are willing to support this course. It is in this light that the AGCO Corps who are involved in highly profitable mechanized farming in all the continents and  having been exposed to GAF’s Agriculture Project Concept and Proposal have step in to partner  with GAF to make our dreams a reality.

These projects when realised will relieve the budgetary allowance on feeding of GAF’s personnel from Government and as well provide food security, youth employment and healthy nutrition for the army and the Gambian populace at large. This is the initiative of the CDS to reform the GAF to be more innovative and proactive to accomplish her mandates. The presentation at the State House was to get the Minister of Defence informed as a way of seeking his consent to begin meaningful dialogue and consultation with the partners.
