As part of our pre-deployment training, the Gambia Armed Forces is pleased to inform the general public that it will conduct a training exercise from Wednesday 09 to Saturday 26 January 2019 around the general area of Fajara and from Saturday 26 January to Monday 04 February 2019 in the general area of Yundum, Jambur, Farato and Banjulinding.
The training exercise will involve the movement of troops and the use of blank ammunition most especially around these general training areas. The inhabitants of the above-mentioned areas are hereby urged to go on with their normal daily activities and not to panic as this is a routine exercise.
